At Birchkid, we build furniture that grows with your child. We stand behind every piece we make — and that means more than just covering defects. It means your family should love what you bought. If you don't, we're not done yet.

What the Happiness Guarantee Covers

Your Birchkid purchase is covered for a full year from the date of delivery. This goes well beyond manufacturing defects.

How to Make a Claim

We've made this as simple as possible. No forms, no RMA numbers, no runaround.

    Send a photo or short video if you can — this helps us resolve things faster.

    We'll respond within 1–2 business days with a solution: replacement part, full replacement, or refund — your choice.

Resolution Options

We'll offer the resolution that makes the most sense — and when possible, we let you choose:

We'll ship the specific part that's failed at no cost, including all hardware.

📦 Full Product Replacement

If a part won't fix it, we'll send a brand-new unit.

💳 Full Refund

If you're not happy for any reason, we'll refund your purchase in full.

Returns

Changed your mind? We get it — furniture is a big decision. You can return your Birchkid purchase within 30 days of delivery for any reason. Items must be in their original packaging.

  • We'll provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving the item.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to ship the product back?

In most cases, no. For defective items, we'll send a replacement without requiring you to return the original. We may ask for photos or video to confirm the issue.

What if my child damaged it — not a defect?

Reach out anyway. We may not be able to cover accidental damage under the Happiness Guarantee, but we'll always do our best to find a fair solution for your family.

Does the guarantee transfer if I gift the product?

Yes. The 1-Year Happiness Guarantee applies from the original purchase date, regardless of who owns it.

What if it's been more than a year?

Contact us. While we can't promise a free resolution after the guarantee period, we're a small family business and we stand behind our products. We'll see what we can do.
